Rubber Intake "branch pipes"
We are not sure what list this originally came off of but it is a good way to refurbish the rubber branch pipes which seem to always crack.
Took the rubber carb manifold and hit it with ScotchBrite and lighter fluid (naptha) and really scoured it. Let it dry for a day, and then took "Black Magic" wet suit cement and applied 4 coats, waiting 15minutes between coats. This sealed up the cracks very well (I learned this technique to refurbish neoprene wiring harness boots on the atlas rockets in the old days). If your manifold is really bad, after 4 coats, put some fiberglass cloth on it and put more coats of wet suit glue over that and it will last longer than your clutch will.
