Cowtater's Trunk Lock

by Cowtater (Andres Careaga)

I modified the design for the lock I made for my bike and it works much better. I made the block out of 5/8" aluminum, extended it another .900", added a small cup at the bottom to cradle the lock tab so it can not slip off the bottom of the lock block, and went to 1/4-20 cap screws so tensile strength = clamping ability = 14000lbs now. gair-own-tea that sucker can't be twisted by nobody normal. it the guy that can do it wants what's in your trunk, you better give it to him cause he'll just bite the end off anyway.
